TENNIS is a lifetime sport from which all age groups find personal enjoyment, opportunities to mix with others socially, as well as the health benefits of vigorous exercise. The coaching curriculum at KINESIS is carefully designed around the three elements of providing a tennis education in an environment combining both exercise and entertainment

All KINESIS coaches are internationally certified by the USPTR/ITF/USPTA and rated as PROFESSIONALS. The coaching programme is designed by internationally renowned tennis coach, Capt. PAVAN MURTHY, who is a certified professional by the USPTA, the USTA and the PTR (Charter member). He was the former national and Davis Cup coach for Bahrain.

The Kinesis coaching model is designed to introduce young children to the joys of playing tennis and then encourage them to graduate to playing serious tennis. At Kinesis we start at the grass root levels and follow a gradual step - by step approach as given below.

MUNCHKIN Programme
Programme designed for children between the ages of five to seven. This includes learning basis skills like throwing, catching the ball and other ball skills, hand-eye co-ordination tasks and tennis games for children. It is based on fun-filled movements and games and not repetitive drills. Munchkins join as Beginners and play two times a week and they gradually progress to Intermediate level based on periodic reviews and internal evaluations. The progress to the next level may take about 8 - 10 months. As an Intermediate they play four times a week.

JUNIOR Programme
Programme is for children between ages seven and ten years. As these students are slightly older the focus shifts from fun games to drills/ techniques that will improve their tennis skills, co-ordination, motor skills and instill team spirit.

SENIOR Programme
Programme is for children above the age of 10 years. As these students show more focus/ concentration and the zeal to progress, the emphasis is on serious tennis drills and games.

Both the Junior and Senior categories enroll as Beginners and then graduate to the Intermediate level and then to the Advanced programme. Their progress is based on periodic reviews and structured evaluations, by our coaches. To progress from Beginner to Intermediate may take about 8 - 10 months of continuous training and about one year from Intermediate to Advanced. Progress will also depend on the physical and mental skills/ ability of the child and the regularity of training.

It is recommended that Juniors and Seniors in the Beginner category play a minimum of 4 hours/ week and Intermediates play an average of 6 hours/week. Students in the Advanced programme should try and play the maximum possible hours, upto a limit of 12 hours/week.
