TENNIS is a lifetime sport from which all age groups find personal enjoyment, opportunities to mix with others socially, as well as the health benefits of vigorous exercise. The coaching curriculum at KINESIS is carefully designed around the three elements of providing a tennis education in an environment combining both exercise and entertainment

All KINESIS coaches are internationally certified by the USPTR/ITF/USPTA and rated as PROFESSIONALS. The coaching program is designed with the support of internationally renowned tennis coach, Capt. PAVAN MURTHY, who is a certified professional by the USPTA, the USTA and the PTR (Charter member). He was also the former national and Davis Cup coach for Bahrain.

The Kinesis coaching model introduces young children to the joys of playing tennis and then gradually grooms them to graduate to playing serious tennis. Children systematically progress through three stages under the supervision of our coaches and trainers.

MUNCHKIN Program
A program designed for children between the ages of four to eight. This includes learning basis skills like throwing, catching the ball and other ball skills, hand-eye co-ordination tasks and tennis games for children.

JUNIOR Programme
A program for children between ages eight and twelve years. At the junior level, focus is on drills/ techniques that will improve their tennis skills, co-ordination, motor skills and instill team spirit.

SENIOR Programme
A program for children above the age of 12 years. As these students show increased focus and concentration with the zeal to progress, the emphasis is on serious tennis drills, match play, strategies and games.

At each stage, Kinesis students first join as BEGINNERS and then graduate to the INTERMEDIATE level and finally to the ADVANCED levels.

Their progress is based on periodic reviews and structured evaluations, by our coaches. To support the coaches in this systematic evaluation we have introduced our unique KINESIS TENNIS RATING (KTR) system. The KTR is used to measure the development of students in the age group of 5 years to 18 years and describe the proficiencies levels present at the Beginner to Advanced level so that we can provide continuous assessment of students from enrolment throughout their training tenure with us. With regular and continuous training at Kinesis academies, students can improve on their KTR ratings and tennis skills.

KTR serves as a pace setter for coaches as it helps identify interested and talented students to be inducted into our advanced training programs. For parents KTR provides an understanding that with regular focused and systematic training they look forward to seeing their wards compete at State and National levels.
